This
K-6 school remodel and addition consists of 36,000 square feet of
classrooms, administration space, a gymnasium, media center, mechanical
room, restrooms, and storage areas. The building uses wood frame
construction with a standing seam metal roofing. Ideologically, the
design philosophy reflects fundamental teaching methods, with individual
classrooms for each school grade. To the rear of the building is sited an outdoor fitness trail. This trail includes 14 exercise stations, i.e., a tire-trot, 3-way chin-up bar, etc. |
